4 Primary School Garden

Pupils in year 4 have visited the school garden in order to plant seeds in reused objects. In Science lessons they became aware of the importance of plants in our planet. It was nice!

3rd Primary Learning about Mammals

In year 3 We are learning interesting facts about mammals. We have learnt to classify them. Did you know that the platypus and the spiny anteater are the only mammals that lay eggs?

CARNIVOROUS PLANTS

Pupils of 3rd primary have visited the Botanical Gardens in Valencia. They have learnt about the plant kingdom through participating in practical activities.They have also attended a Carnivorous Plants Workshop and made a Venus Flytrap paper craft!

Pupils of 3rd Primary have learned many things about farm animals and they have also designed their own farms. They're very nice.

Charla- taller sobre primeros auxilios

Los alumnos de 4º de primaria han asistido a una charla-taller sobre PRIMEROS AUXILIOS, impartido por la mamá de Paula Chrofré, Elena, y el papá de Nayara Azpeitia, Nacho.Han recibido información y practicado sobre cómo actuar ante ciertos accidentes; lo más importante llamar al 112. Muchas gracias Elena y Nacho por vuestra colaboración.

Conferencia Familias Trasplantes de Órganos

Los alumnos de 4 de primaria han asistido a una conferencia sobre un contenido tratado en Science, trasplantes de órganos, expuesta por Elena Bisbal,  madre de Paula Chofré. ¡Ha sido muy interesante! Gracias Elena por compartir tus conocimientos y experiencia con nosotros.

Chickpeas

Pupils of 3rd Primary have learnt a lot in their Science class about chickpeas. Isabel Rueda has shown us how to plant them in a glass jar and then we must wait for them to sprout in orden to re-plant them.

FOSSILS

In 3rd year we have enjoyed watching fossils. We have learnt that fossils are made from animals and plants that died a long time ago. It's amazing!

Living things and non-living things

In year 3 we are learning about living things and non-living things.We are scientists!

Respiratory System Models

4th primary students have made  respiratory system models and a digestive system template They created, they experienced, they had a good time in Science.

3rd year primary. Getting to know health problems and healthy habits.

3rd year students have been learning why certain healthy habits are necessary and how health problems are caused and how some can be prevented.

Plantamos semillas y visitamos la estación metereológica.

En la clase de science los alumnos de 3º han visitado el huerto y la estación meteorológica. Han plantado semillas de zanahorias y acelgas. Han visto cómo funcionan los diferentes instrumentos medidores y podrán seguir el crecimiento de las futuras plantas.

Nuestros alumnos han disfrutado de diversos experimentos científicos. Ha sido una aproximación al mundo científico muy curiosa y divertida.

Conferencia/Taller sobre la Celiaquía

Hoy los alumnos de 3º han tenido una conferencia/taller sobre la celiaquía gracias a ACECOVA.Han experimentado de dónde viene el gluten, qué alimentos lo contienen o no y cómo afecta a algunas personas. ¡Una experiencia muy interesante!

Living and non-living things

Los alumnos de tercero en las clases de science han hecho unos trabajos en grupo sobre Living things and non-living things. Han aprendido a clasificar seres vivos e inertes.
